The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting rainfalls of 20mm to 50mm in Launceston on Saturday.
While this is nowhere near the amount of rainfall Northern Tasmania saw last June, it still has the potential to put pressure on our stormwater system in the city.
City of Launceston crews are already out and about, checking gully pits and other stormwater infrastructure in advance of the rain.
