From the oval you play sport on, the park you picnic in, the road outside your house, the collection of your household rubbish and the hygiene standards in your local restaurants and shops, all of these things (and many more) are the responsibility of Launceston City Council. These services are delivered through Council's seven directorates:
- Governance Services;
- Infrastructure Services;
- Development Services;
- Resident and Leisure Services;
- Communications and Economic Development;
- Corporate Services; and
