The City of Launceston RSL Band is a traditional brass band composed of brass and percussion instrumentalists.
The Band's repertoire includes marches, hymns and traditional brass band music as you would expect, but the modern brass band can move into pop, rock and jazz styles as well.
Council has sponsored the band since 2005 as the city's official band. The City of Launceston RSL Band performs at Australia Day Awards, Australia Day Citizenship Ceremonies and ANZAC Day ceremonies.
