Council often has a wide range of projects which businesses can submit tenders for.
Specifications for tenders are available at the Customer Service Centre, St John St, Launceston unless otherwise stated.
When contractors are submitting tenders in response to Council Request for Tenders, it is important to following these guidelines:
- Tenders should be addressed to the Launceston City Council tender box.
- Tenders are to be in a sealed envelope with the contract number clearly marked and must reach Council's offices for placement in the tender box prior to the prescribed closing time.
Canvassing of Council staff or elected representatives to promote acceptance of a tender may cause disqualification. This does not preclude a tenderer seeking clarification from the nominated officer stated in the tender document.
