Launceston City Council's organisational structure consists of eight directorates, with numerous departments in these directorates.
The eight directorates are Governance, Communications and Economic Development, Corporate Services, Resident and Leisure Services, Development Services, Water and Sewer, Infrastructure Services, and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Each directorate comes under the responsibility of a director.
