In order to deliver strong results to the Launceston community, Council takes its planning role very seriously.
In 2006 Council adopted the community's Vision 2020 following substantial engagement and consultation.
This community Vision guides Council and other community organisations in setting priorities. Vision 2020 underpins Council's integrated planning process.
Council prepares a number of strategic plans, budgets and reports which guide and direct the future direction of Council and the municipality. These are always available to view by the community (see list of plans in the left hand column).
