Launceston City Council's Hall of Fame began in 2006 as an initiative of Launceston's It's About Us 2006 celebrations.
The Hall of Fame is an important addition to Council's annual Australia Day celebrations. It recognises the people in Launceston's history who have left a lasting legacy for our community and have helped make this such a wonderful city.
Since 2006, our Hall of Fame inductees include Dame Marjorie Parker, Reverend John West and Samuel Sutton.
