Engaging with the community

The Council's Community Engagement Framework
The Council has developed a Community Engagement Framework that demonstrates our committment to building partnerships with a range of stakeholders, as well as to seeking greater community involvement in the activities and decision making process of Council.

Alongside this, the Council has designed a Community Engagement Schedule of Activity which outlines our annual public consultation activity for the next three years, as well as upcoming major consultation projects.

Your Voice. Your Launceston
Your Voice. Your Launceston. is an online engagement tool that enables you to have a say about key Council projects and strategies in the Launceston municipality. You can read about current projects, download relevant documents and pictures, complete short surveys, read about key dates like public meetings and submission deadlines as well as participate in public forums.

If you don't want to join in that's fine - you can just read what others have to say. You can join in at any time of the day, on any day of the week. Your Voice. Your Launceston. is a way of discussing things that matter to you.  You can access Your Voice. Your Launceston. via the button on our homepage or by going direct to the Your Voice. Your Launceston website.
