Sunday March 3


St Lukes Health Community Ride at Heritage Forest Carpark from 10.30. There will be two routes to suit all levels. It will be a relaxing, fun ride for everyone no matter what your level or age. A free BBQ after. Come along - we need a big crowd and bring family and friends. 


Monday March 4

Free Flatlands BMX workshop with Matt  in Civic Square @ 5pm. Learn some great skills and tricks…great fun for all ages


 Tuesday March 5

Free bike maintenance workshop at Cycology, 119 York St, Launceston. A chance to learn more about how your bike works and Improve your skills


Wednesday March 6

  • Kids bike week storytime and fun bike ride from Library around Civic Square 10:15

  • Public forum – Looking Ahead – How to build a more vibrant and prosperous CBD  with Cityprom and UTAS - Enterprize Centre in Paterson St 5:30 for 6:00pm. Speakers include: 

o  Steve Henty – Executive Officer, CityProm;

o   Dr Helen Norrie, Regional Urban Studies Laboratory, UTAS Architecture and Design School, Launceston;

o   Hugh McKenzie – City of Launceston Councillor, Chair Pedestrian and Bike Committee;

o   Alison Hetherington - Government and community relations – Bicycle Network Tas


Thursday March 7

Bike Film Night at the Star. The Bikes of Wrath -  a great film of an epic bike journey across the USA. You can book your tickets here  Please book early to as we need to sell at least 50 tickets to confirm the event. You can find the preview here


Friday  March 8 

Bike Week Ride2Night 7pm from QVMAG carpark at Inveresk. Bling your bike and light up the night


Monday March 4 to Sat March 9

Running through the week will be our All Things Bike pop up shop in Centreway Arcade from Come and check out our exhibition of great bike photos, our giveaways and bike specials or just chat more about getting out and about on your bike around Launceston.
