Music in the Park 2019

Music in the park 2019

Music in the Park 2019 is a City of Launceston initiative in the beautiful surrounds of the City Park Band Rotunda featuring live music performances by local acts, a jumping castle and free City Park train rides for the Launceston community.

The event is perfect to bring along a picnic, catch up with friends and family and enjoy the beautiful park on Sunday afternoons and Australia Day in January.

On Friday 1 March 2019, Launceston will host the 2018 Australian Tourism Awards which marks the second time in the award’s history that the ceremony has been held outside of a capital city. The First Basin, Cataract Gorge will provide the stunning backdrop for the awards as Launceston plays host to around 800 of the nation's best tourism operators.

To celebrate the awards and the extraordinary marquee which will be installed over the swimming pool for the event, the City of Launceston will host a special Music in the Park 2019 for the community to attend on Saturday 2 March 2019.
