Construction works on Boland Street

The University of Tasmania, with construction led by Fairbrother, will be connecting it's new Willis Street building to sewer and stormwater infrastructure in Boland Street, and installing steel spans for the pedestrian and cycle bridge to continue across the road.

The following traffic management will be in place to facilitate the works:

Stage 1: 29 September – 2 October

• Full closure of Boland Street between Willis and Lawrence Streets with detours in place

• Partial closure of Boland Street between Tamar and Willis Streets

• Left turn from Willis Street into Tamar Street is open

• All turns from Tamar Street into Boland Street are closed

Stage 2: 2 October – 11 December

• Full closure of Boland Street between Willis and Lawrence Streets and detours in place

Stage 3: 11 December – 15 December

• Partial closure of Boland Street between Willis and Lawrence Streets (traffic management using one lane)
