Learn to Swim Office

The Learn to Swim office is closed and will reopen from Monday, 17 January.

Important Dates

The following table shows the final Learn to Swim classes for 2021 and the first classes in 2022.

All current bookings will re-commence in 2022. Students who remain enrolled over the 2021/2022 break may continue to enjoy free entry to the Centre.

Class Fee Increase

In 2022 classes will be charged at $18.50 per lesson, which will be direct debited fortnightly at $37.00. Direct debits will resume from Thursday, 20 January 2022.


Dates

Classes are held every week until Friday, 17 December, 2021.

Classes are held during School Holidays, but not on the following Public Holidays:

  • Wednesday 24 February - Launceston Cup Day
  • Monday 8 March - Eight Hours Day
  • Friday 2 - 6 April - Easter Holidays
  • Sunday 25 April - ANZAC Day
  • Monday 14 June - Queens Birthday
  • Thursday 7 October - Launceston Show Day
  • Monday 1 November - Recreation Day

If your class falls on one of these days you will not be charged for that class.

Launceston Leisure & Aquatic does not charge dishonour fees, but please be aware that your individual financial institution may charge a fee if this payment is dishonoured. Leisure and Aquatic reserves the right to refuse entry if fees have not been paid.

Suspension

Throughout the calendar year students are entitled to four lessons worth of suspensions. Suspensions can be used for holidays, sickness or for any other circumstance that may arise. We encourage you to use these suspensions if your child is sick. You will not be charged for missed lessons relating to long term medical conditions if you are able to supply us with a medical certificate.
