Open Hours
The Launceston Leisure & Aquatic Centre is open during the following hours:
- Weekdays: 6am - 8pm
- LAfit Extended Hours (member access only): Monday to Friday - 8pm to 9pm
- Weekends and Public Holidays: 8am - 6pm (or as listed below)
From Monday, 12 January, the LAfit operating hours change to:
• Monday to Friday: 5.30am - 8.30pm
• Weekends and public holidays: 8am - 6pm (unchanged)
As all other facilities in the centre will continue to open at 6.00am, pool access will not be available before this time.
Between 5.30am and 6.00am, entry to LAfit will be through the back gate and turnstile for members only until the main entrance opens at 6.00am.

King's Birthday: Monday, 8 June, 2026 - 8am - 6pm
Launceston Show Day: Thursday, 8 October, 2026 - 8am - 6pm
Recreation Day: Monday, 2 November, 2026 - 8am - 6pm
Christmas Day: Friday, 25 December, 2026 - CLOSED
