Road Closures: ANZAC Day Parade 2026

Notice is given in accordance with Section 19 of the Local Government (Highways Act) 1982 of the intention to close the following roads the purpose of conducting an event.

Event: City of Launceston Anzac Day Parade 2026

Closure Date: Saturday, 25 April 2026

Roads to be Closed:

  • Bathurst Street northbound from Brisbane Street: 5.50am – 7am & 10.30 am – 12 noon
  • Brisbane Street between Kingsway and Charles Street: 9.30am – 10.45am
  • Charles Street between Cimitiere and Paterson Streets: 10.10am – 10.45am
  • Charles Street between Elizabeth and Frederick Streets: 9am – 10.30am
  • Elizabeth Street between St John and Charles Streets: 9am – 10.30am
  • Paterson Street between Margaret Street and Wellington Street: 5am – 7am & 9am –12noon
  • Park Street: 5am – 7am & 9am–12noon
  • Paterson Street between Wellington and Charles Streets: 10.05am – 11am
  • York Street between St John Street and Kingsway: 10am to 12 noon
