The purpose of the Event Sponsorship Program is to support events which contribute to Launceston being valued as a stage for outstanding events which positively impact the city's economy, community, and brand.

The City of Launceston's Event Sponsorship funding opportunities for events are currently under review, in accordance with development of the City of Launceston Events Strategy 2030.

The upgraded Events Strategy will provide a framework to guide the allocation of event funding support via the Event Sponsorship Program. Information regarding our Event Sponsorship Program, eligibility requirements (guidelines) and the application process will be published on this page as they become available.
