The Brisbane Lions men's AFL squad will spend a week at a training camp in Northern Tasmania from next Saturday.

The squad will hold three training sessions at University of Tasmania Stadium during their week-long visit to Tasmania, with a fourth session planned at St Patrick's College.

All training sessions are open to the public:

- Saturday, December 16 - Training from 9am - 10am at UTAS Stadium

- Sunday, December 17 - Training 9am to 11.45am at UTAS Stadium

- Tuesday, December 19 - Training 9am to 11.45am at UTAS Stadium

- Thursday, December 21 - Training 9am to 11.45am at St Patrick's College

It will be the first chance Tasmanians will have to see former Hawthorn champion Luke Hodge in a Brisbane jumper since he was traded to the Lions at the end of the 2017 season - despite earlier announcing his retirement from AFL.

During their visit, the squad will also hold education sessions, gym recovery sessions as well as leadership and team activities.

The team will fly into Launceston on Friday night (December 15), returning on the following Saturday morning (December 23).
