Waste entry vouchers

The City of Launceston provides households with one voucher for free entry to a Council-managed waste centre at any time throughout the year. The voucher allows residents a single free entry to a Council-managed waste centre to dispose of domestic items.

Community Organisation Annual Waste Concession Program

The City of Launceston’s Annual Waste Concession Program offers subsidised entry to local waste centres for eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations throughout the financial year.

It’s a simple way to reduce costs while making environmentally responsible waste‑disposal choices for your organisation.

Pensioner Concession

Pensioners and pensioner householders who hold a Commonwealth Pensioner Card may be eligible to receive a Council appointed concession card, known as a Smart Card.

Eligible pensioners will receive an annual allowance to spend on waste disposal activities at Waste Centres.
