From Monday, July 19, 2021, the FREE Tiger Bus's Inveresk stop will be relocated from its current location — in the circular car park outside QVMAG — to Stop 3 on Invermay Rd.

Stop 3 can be found directly adjacent to the circular car park on Invermay Rd; it is located partway between the Tramsheds Function Centre and the Lindsay St Roundabout.

Along with a yellow-framed shelter to provide protection from the elements, Stop 3 also offers seating.

The stop is being relocated while the University of Tasmania undertakes a redevelopment of half of the circular car park as part of its expanded Inveresk Campus.

This means half of the car park is being repurposed and will be permanently closed to vehicle parking later this month, with the other half continuing to operate as a car park.

In addition, the first stage of the newly constructed Northern Inveresk Car Park, accessed off Forster Street is available for parking, and provides convenient access to the Inveresk precinct.
