North Esk Memoriall Hall bookings resume through Council

The City of Launceston has resumed responsibility for the management of event bookings for the North Esk Memorial Hall, Blessington.

Bookings have previously been taken by a management committee, but given the additional responsibilities required to meet COVID-19 protocols, the Council will resume management and bookings of the Hall for the foreseeable future.

The change will allow the Council to advise hall users on public health guidelines, administer bookings, and oversee management and maintenance of the hall, rather than place this responsibility on a volunteer committee.

The City of Launceston is requesting anyone who has an upcoming booking at the hall to call 6323 3000 to confirm.

All current booking up to June 27, 2021, will be upheld.

Any bookings beyond this date will need to be confirmed with Council. New bookings for the Hall will commence on the July 1, 2021.
