You're invited to see the redeveloped Albert Hall!

The City of Launceston will also host a free Community Open Day on Sunday, November 9 from 10am to 4pm, with everyone invited to explore the redeveloped venue and experience its transformation firsthand.

The family-friendly event will feature children’s activities and self-guided tours, as well as live music from local performers, storytelling sessions on the front lawn, free train rides and a selfie competition.

"We encourage everyone to come along, step inside this beautifully renewed building, and see for themselves what an incredible job has been done,” Mayor Garwood said. 

"This Open Day is about celebrating what makes Launceston special - our heritage, our creativity, and our community spirit.”

Gold coin donations can be made on the day with all proceeds supporting the Cancer Council's vital work in Tasmania.
