Myrtle Park Recreation Ground

Myrtle Park campground is located in a large open grassed and wooded area on the set alongside the St Patricks River in the small town of Targa. It offers unpowered sites and good amenities, and is suitable for large caravans and motorhomes.

Myrtle Park is approximately 35 kilometres from Launceston and 30 kilometres from Scottsdale on the Tasman Highway (A3). Multiple facilities are located onsite including barbecues, playgrounds and tennis courts, as well as maintained amenities such as the showers, toilets and a laundry.

Bookings are required for the Myrtle Park campground.

The Myrtle Park camping season will run from the 1st September 2025 through to 31st May 2026.

Extra Adults will incur a $5.00 additional fee (per adult)

Myrtle Park is open for camping via reserved bookings only.

Here are some guidelines to ensure a pleasant stay:

Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
The maximum permitted consecutive nights stay is 14.
All reservations will be confirmed by email.
You must be 18 years of age or older to make a reservation.
We kindly request that noise levels are kept to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 7am to respect other guests. Excessive noise during these times will not be tolerated.
The Operator reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest.
