City Levee Wall Grouting Works (Lower Charles Street)

A section of the City Levee concrete wall alongside Lower Charles Street is scheduled to undergo re-grouting works ahead of a planned mural installation.

The appointed contractor, GLB Constructions, is expected to commence works on Monday 5 January 2026, with works anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete. The works and future mural will be undertaken on the footpath/road side of the levee wall, not the car park side.

Temporary pedestrian and traffic arrangements will be in place during the grouting works, including footpath detours and a reduced speed limit near the work area.

The sections of the levee wall where re-grouting works will occur are highlighted in yellow below.
