As part of routine maintenance, the City of Launceston will be carrying out a floodgate closure exercise at the Hart Street floodgate (in the vicinity of No. 77 Hart Street) on Thursday, 4 June 2026 between 9am and 11am.
To allow these works to take place safely, a partial road closure will be in place on Hart Street between Pine Avenue and Birch Avenue. Property access will remain available throughout the exercise.
