The City of Launceston advises that UDM Group will be undertaking surveying works on Margaret Street on Monday 18 May and Tuesday 19 May from 7pm each night.
These investigations are being carried out to help inform the design for planned renewal works along Margaret Street in the next financial year. Details of the renewal works have not yet been confirmed, however further information will be provided as planning progresses.
To assist with the surveying works, we kindly request that vehicles are not parked on Margaret Street after 7pm each night where possible, as access is required to services located within the parking lanes. Parking can resume during daytime hours. Access to driveways and properties will be maintained at all times.
Traffic cones will be placed out in advance to help keep sections of the street clear while surveying is undertaken. The works are expected to cause minimal disruption to residents and businesses. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding while these works are completed.
