Celebrate the reopening of the upgraded Royal Park Skate Park

The community is invited to celebrate the official reopening of the newly upgraded Royal Park Skate Park, a key recreational space delivered by the City of Launceston.

Join us for a free fun-filled afternoon of skating, music and food to mark the completion of this exciting upgrade. Designed as a school holiday activity for young people and families, the event will showcase the new facilities and the positive impact they bring to the community.

What’s on:

• Official opening and welcome from Mayor Matthew Garwood

• Attendance by Convic, the skate park designers

• Live DJ set by Spicy Music

• Free food and refreshments, including a Rotary BBQ and the Swirlz van

• Children’s skate competition with giveaways, hosted by local pro skater Derek from Deckhead

• Live mural painting by a local artist

• St John Ambulance will be on site

No RSVP is required - just come along and enjoy the afternoon!
