Seniors Week 2023

Senior Launceston residents are being encouraged to make the most of Seniors Week 2023 between Monday October 16 and Sunday October 22.
The City of Launceston has worked to include a number of fun activities in COTA Tasmania's full program of events for older older Tasmanians.

Watercolouring with Coffee Workshop with Lyn Stares at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery, Royal Park

Celebrate Seniors Week with a free Aquafit class at the City of Launceston Leisure & Aquatic Centre

Mindful Movement at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery, Royal Park
Tuesday October 17, 10.30am to 11.30am
Join us in a workshop exploring mindful movement as a potential personal ritual to cope with changes in a positive way.

Healthy Ageing with Dr George Razay
Friday October 20, 11am to 12 noon, at the Northern Suburbs Community Centre, 49 George Town Road, Newnham
Dr George Razay will present on practical approaches for preventing cognitive and physical decline with ageing, and the science behind it.
