All Access All Weather Bus Stop Upgrade Program

The City of Launceston will be undertaking a series of upgrades to bus stops across the city as part of the Department of State Growth’s All Access All Weather Bus Stop Upgrade Program.

Works are scheduled for completion by the end of June 2026.

All bus stops will remain operational during the works, with some temporary stops in place nearby.

As part of this program, the following bus stops will be upgraded:

111 Hobart Road, Kings Meadows Installation of a new shelter designed by University of Tasmania
1 Warring Street, Ravenswood Installation of a new shelter and tactile ground surface indicators
Franmaree Road at Teal Court Footpath works and installation of tactile ground surface indicators
126 Abbott Street, Newstead Construction of a ramp, footpath works and installation of tactile ground surface indicators
70 Hobart Road, Kings Meadows Construction of a ramp, kerb works and installation of tactile ground surface indicators
30 Kertch Road, St Leonards Construction of a retaining wall, footpath widening and installation of tactile ground surface indicators
