Cleveland Street and Wellington Street Night Works

The City of Launceston will be overseeing road surface resealing night works on Cleveland Street and a section of Wellington Street, between No. 215 Wellington Street and Cleveland Street. These works will be carried out by Fulton Hogan on behalf of the City of Launceston.

Please note that scheduled dates are weather dependent and may change. If postponed, works will be rescheduled to the next suitable night.

Traffic detour and access to medical facilities: Cleveland Street and the southbound lanes of Wellington Street, between No. 215 Wellington Street and Howick Street, will be closed to traffic, with detours in place.

Southbound traffic will be diverted via the Midland Highway and Howick Street. The northbound lanes will remain open. Please see map on the reverse page.

All accesses to medical facilities, including the Launceston Medical Hub and Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will remain available during the works. Traffic management personnel and signage will be in place to assist patients, visitors and staff in accessing the clinic safely. Patients, visitors and staff requiring access to these facilities are to speak to the Traffic Controllers who will guide them through the work site safely.
