Partial Road Closure: Brisbane Street (George Street to Tamar Street)

To facilitate propping works on the Princess Theatre façade, temporary traffic changes will be in place on Brisbane Street between George Street and Tamar Street from Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August 2026.

Traffic arrangements will include:  

• Closure of the eastbound traffic lane (towards City Park), with traffic diverted around the work area.
• The westbound lane (towards the CBD) will remain open.
• A section of the footpath directly outside the Princess Theatre will be closed. All other footpaths will remain open.

Access to all businesses and properties in the area will be maintained throughout the works.

Please follow all traffic management signage and allow extra time for your journey where possible.
