Since its inception in 1997, the Launceston Youth Advisory Group (YAG) has worked to promote the contributions that young people make to their municipality and the broader community.

The City of Launceston Youth Advisory Group is a program for young people aged 12-25, looking for mentorship and skill development across a range of fields. YAG is a key link between youth living within Launceston and the City of Launceston Councillors - helping to guide decisions across our city that primarily impact immediate and future generations of youth in Launceston.
