The renovation of Launceston’s Albert Hall has won an international architecture award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

CBD Bus Interchange progresses with design tender

The City of Launceston is progressing plans for a future city centre transport interchange, with a tender currently open for the development of concept designs.

The tender closes on 25 August and will seek two concepts for a modern on-street interchange which would make public and active transport easier, safer, and more enjoyable to use.

$11 million Margaret St reconstruction nears start
