Cataract Walk Barrier Repairs

A section of Cataract Walk will be closed 24/7 from Monday 28 July to Friday 15 August 2025 (3 weeks) to allow for essential barrier renewal and conduit upgrades for lighting and safety.

The walkway will be closed between the second lookout and the Cliffgrounds. A section of the walkway will remain open from Kings Bridge to the second lookout, however there will be no through access to the Cataract Gorge.

Pedestrians are asked to avoid entering closed areas, as live edges will be present within the work zone.

Ongoing maintenance will continue through to September, but the walkway will remain open during that time.
