Forest Road Investigations

The City of Launceston will be carrying out investigation works on Forest Road, between West Tamar Road and Trevallyn Road. These works will involve excavating small test holes to assess the road pavement condition.

The works will be undertaken by Paneltec on behalf of the City of Launceston and are scheduled for Monday 12 May 2025 between 9am and 5pm. All test areas will be reinstated at the end of the day.

During this time, traffic on Forest Road will be reduced to a single lane between West Tamar Road and Trevallyn Road, with stop/go traffic management in place. Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, as delays may be experienced.

Access to properties will be maintained throughout the works.
