CBD Bus Interchange progresses with design tender

The City of Launceston is progressing plans for a future city centre transport interchange, with a tender currently open for the development of concept designs.

The tender closes on 25 August and will seek two concepts for a modern on-street interchange which would make public and active transport easier, safer, and more enjoyable to use.

$11 million Margaret St reconstruction nears start

Applications for Private Underground Electrical Connections (PUEC) within council road reservations will only be approved where the impact on community assets is considered reasonable and safe.
