Advocacy

The City of Launceston is advocating for support and funding on a range of strategic projects and initiatives.

The advocacy priorities of Council are categorised by:

  1. Partnership Projects - The Council will work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to plan, advocate and in some cases, undertake the project.
  2. Council-owned Projects - The Council will advocate for additional funding from other levels of government to undertake the project.
  3. Advocacy Projects - These projects are strategically important for the City's future, and Council will advocate strongly for its implementation by others.
