George/Balfour Intersection Improvements

Construction works are scheduled to commence on the intersection of George Street and Balfour Street on Tuesday, 9 April 2024.

The objective of this project is to provide safe pedestrian passage across this intersection by constructing new kerb outstands and ramps, as well as improving asphalt levels to the Balfour Street entrance.

This project is funded by the Department of State Growth Black Spot Program.
